Who we are

After graduating from Purdue University with a B.A. degree in communication/advertising, Shelly spent over 20 years building her career in sales and marketing. She's sold advertising for the top radio stations in South Bend, Indiana, Nashville, Tennessee, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has also sold pharmaceuticals, print and television advertising. In addition, Shelly has held the position of sales director with Warner Bros. Western record label and marketing director with the Gates Automotive Group. 

Shelly has also been a freelance writer since 1996. Her work has been published in Western Horseman, In the Shadow of Pikes Peak, M.D. News, Inside WSM, Life+Spaces and Wedding Day. 

Shelly's dual career in sales and marketing, along with her passion for writing, allows her the privilege of understanding clients' objectives from a business perspective as well as a creative one.
